Broken Arrow, OK—A Broken Arrow student has been named the winner of an Award of Merit in Photography from the national PTA.
Matthew Martin, a senior at Broken Arrow High School, has been selected to be featured in National PTA’s annual Reflections Student Art Showcase, which will air on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 6 p.m.CST on National PTA’s YouTube channel.
Jane York, President of the Oklahoma PTA, said she was proud of Martin for this extraordinary accomplishment.
“I'm so proud of Matt being named a winner in National PTA's annual Reflections arts program. Matt's mom, Tracy, is a longtime PTA member who has been instrumental in supporting the Reflections program in the Broken Arrow school district for many years. Matt and his four siblings have participated in Reflections since they were in elementary school, and they always make an impression at our Oklahoma PTA Reflections ceremony. Matt is a talented young man, and this is just the start of his senior year accolades,” York said.
